The Mountaineer Chapter voted in February to provide $190.00 in scholarship funding for one person to attend the WVCTU fly fishing school. It will be held at the Thornwood 4-H Camp near Durbin, May 20-22, 2011. The Scholarship covers 75% of the combined cost of tuition ($210.00) and a one year membership in Trout Unlimited ($35.00). Costs for lodging ($20.00 if you stay at the 4-H dorm) are not part of the scholarship. The tuition includes meals and on stream instruction on Sunday. Anyone wishing to take advantage of this opportunity can call Randy at 304-622-5982 or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org . Names of potential attendees will be placed in a hat and the winner will be drawn at the April chapter meeting. This is a great instructional weekend, so please take advantage of this opportunity.
