Fly FIshing School in the Pocahontas Times

A group of WVCTU fly fishing instructors and students take a break at the 4-H camp at Thornwood. WVCTU moved the school to Pocahontas County this year and will be holding it here every year. School organizers say the location is ideal and hope to increase enrollment to about 30 students every year.

Thornwood — A leading conservation group relocated its annual fly fishing school to Pocahontas County.

The West Virginia Council of Trout Unlimited (WVCTU), a non-profit organization with the mission to conserve, restore and protect cold water fisheries, conducted its 34th annual fly fishing weekend at the 4-H Camp near Thornwood.    READ MORE from the the POCAHONTAS TIMES
